I don't wanna grow up, I'm a Toys 'R Us kid
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you "grew up?"
Come on, admit it... you probably had some crazy ideas. At one point, I wanted to be a clothing designer. Yeah right, like that was realistic! Then, I thought about being a nurse... But I get queasy when I see other people all gashed and bleeding. For awhile I considered being a librarian... though while working in the library at college, I realized that it was the worst thing ever! [I don't like cataloguing.]
I always thought I'd want to be a wife and mommy. Well, I'm a mommy now. Yeah. But I'd still like to have a career someday. Hmm... what should I be when I grow up?

WEll I haven't been around for awhile....it's funny you should mention this today...just last night I was telling my hubby what I should have been.
When I was in high school we did those aptitude tests....you know what they told me I should be....A DJ, or a television producer, interior designer, or choreographer. I never did any of those. I eventually ended up being a nurse. funny thing is, I did dabble with the DJ thing...I did music for weddings....I did do choreography once by designing a dance for a production I was involved in...and as far as the TV producer...well I have budgeted and organgize many functions and that is kinda like what the TV person would do....so I guess I have done what they suggested just not as my full time career.
Happy Friday to you! Oh and thanks for dropping by my blog...I am glad you did....I will be back...
I wanted to be an Astronaut, Prime Minister, President, Teacher, Principal, Movie Star, Professional Athelete and...thats all I can remember but I'm sure there was much more. And now that I'm heading back to school....I should know the answer to this but.....nope, still working on it :P
I don't even remember anymore...though, I think it was probably a writer.
Don't laugh! A TEACHER! I had a chalkboard on the back of my door and I'd play school with my stuffed animals as the students!!!
Designer - I used to sew and design clothes.
Artist - I used to love art (well and still do).
Teacher - I used to pretend to play "school" too but never thought I could actually be one in the real world. I think to a kid being a teacher seems like something impossible, so my first two seemed more realistic at the time lol.
When I was growing up there weren't many choices for women except to be a mommy or a secretary. At one point I wanted to join the Peace Corp.
When I was really small I wanted to be a go-go dancer! My Mother breathed a huge sigh of relief when I outgrew that. From the time I was old enough to read all I ever wanted to be was a writer.
I wanted to be a nurse and then I wanted to be an actress. Well, I'm a business owner and I have babies so many times I am acting and often times I am nursing boos boos.
