Ready or Not...

...Here I come!

Thanks, all, for your sympathies and understanding. I love, love, love being a teacher. But it's so stressful w/ end of the year stuff. It's enough to make one go mad!

I'll try to get around to everyone's blog tonight. If not tonight, then tomorrow.

I'll leave you w/ a quick question. What do you do to unwind after a long, stressful day at work?

(Did I ask this before? I can't quite remember... If so, well, you can answer again! Thanks!)

I like do something that requires no energy. Physically or mentally. Some ice cream, chocolate or cake, and something funny on tv or a movie.

Hi Abigail! Life can be stressful at times, but then when there is none, I know I'll be bored.

To unwind, I listen to a good recording of classical music or children's singing voice...pure and angelic especially the boy's voice! Turned on full volume!!!

Otherwise, forced myself to go for a long run or if I have a punchbag at sight, I would be punching myself away.

Decaf Coffee with some delicious creamer tends to release my stress.

And brushing my hair. Is that weird?

Blog and watch documentaries. I never pretended to be cool.

I have a glass of wine and curl up on the couch with a good book or fresh magazine. If the day was particularly bad, I add a square (or two) of dark chocolate. Then later I cuddle with my Sweetie. ;-)

I have an addition to mine. A bit odd...

I had said brushing my hair. Well, I sometimes pull at my hair. NO, NOT OUT. But just little tugs. It seems to release pressure from my scalp. Or something.

I change out of my jeans and into sweat pants and a flannel shirt. I grab a cold glass of diet pepsi and turn on CNN and the computer. This is where I sit until either the dog hair on the carpet bothers me enough to vacuum or it's time to start dinner (about an hour and a half).

By the time I get home from work...I'm usually so tired that I can't do more than check my email and then go right to bed.
